Discover Allegheny as an outdoor living history museum! A must see attraction in the City of Pittsbugh, Allegheny Cemetery is a National Historic Landmark and her 300 acres encompass a lush landscape rich with history and beauty. 22 Pittsburgh Mayors, stars of the screen and stage, composers, pioneers of aviation and industry, sports greats, prominent citizens and countless veterans from every conflict all rest here. A stunning array of memorial statuary in styles ranging from gothic to modern mingle amoung countless varieties of flora and fauna in this conserved green space.
Our Tour Guide will accompany your group of ten or more on your chartered bus or van Tuesday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm from March through October. Tours are not scheduled the week before Memorial day because of flag placement and the large number of individual visitors.
A complimentary Guided Tour can be scheduled for 45 minutes or 2 hours to visit the historical grave sites of Stephen Foster, Lillian Russell, Rosey Rowswell, Josh Gibson, Charles Avery, Harry Kendall Thaw (Girl in the Red Velvet Swing), famous Military Figures and prominent Pittsburgh families.
Please allow least two weeks in advance to schedule a Guided Tour.

Using our application you can search our database of over 130,000 records and find graves using GPS and satellite maps. We also included several self guided tours being updated daily.
